POWER MATH SUMMER PROGRAMS

For 8 Weeks@2 Sessions/wk. (June 17th-August 10th)

 

Our Power Math Summer Programs, are divided into 4 CATEGORIES {A, B, C,& D} and are designed for students who REQUIRE a BASIC REVIEW of  material/courses that they completed this year but did not do well on and have not mastered these classe’s concepts, yet these courses will be the  prerequisite for the next grade level course that they will take in the fall. They must fix the gaps in their foundation of the course just completed with a solid review to master its concepts so that it will not crumble under the new, higher-level, concepts of next year’s math class. Unlike other subjects MATH KNOWLEDGE IS CUMULATIVE.

In all these categories every student will receive a FREE ASSESSMENT as part of their 16 sessions, to determine their current skills and mathematical thinking abilities and where they stand with respect to the math course they just completed and  their level of grasp of the course concepts. 

These FREE ASSESSMENT’S results will provide insights into which areas they need to review, and where the gaps or cracks in their foundation for this course’s concept lie. This will help in gauging their progress through out their summer program so that  they are ready for next year’s math class, and its new higher-level concepts, in the fall.

Students come to Greater New Haven Math Online Academy (GNH-MOAcademy) to enhance their analytical and problem solving skills. Regardless of grade or skill level, our system evaluates their current performance level and propels them forward. Summer is an ideal time to take advantage of Greater New Haven Math Online Academy’s Power Math Programs to give students an extra boost heading into the new school year ***.

***Unused hours will expire after August 10, 2024 unless they are rolled over into a regular monthly program at that time

OPTIONS

A- JUMP START PROGRAM

Price*: $560

[1]JUMP START I: Upper Elementary Math 4th grade

This program is designed to help students transition from lower elementary (grades 2–3) to upper elementary (grades 4–5).

[2]JUMP START II: Middle School Math 6th grade

This program is designed to help students transition from upper elementary (grades 4–5) to middle school (grades 6–8).


B- MASTER SERIES PROGRAM

Price*: $560

[1] Master Times Tables 3rd grade & up

This program is designed for students going into grade 4 and up who want to master their Times Tables.

[2] Master Fraction Concepts and Skills 3rd grade & up

This program is designed for students going into 4th grade and up who need a comprehensive look at Fraction Concepts.

[3] Master Decimal Concepts and Skills 4th grade & up

This program is designed for students going into 5th grade and up who need a comprehensive look at Decimal Concepts and Skills.

[4] Master Percent (basic) & Fractions 5th grade & up

This program is designed for students going into 6th grade and up who want a comprehensive introduction to the concepts and skills involving percent and fractions.

[5] Master Percent (advanced) & Fractions 6th grade & up

This program is designed for students going into 7th grade and up who want to do advanced work with percent and fractions

 
 

C- POWER REVIEW PROGRAM-I

Price*: $640

[1] PRE-ALGEBRA REVIEW:  A POWER MATH REVIEW (ALGEBRA-1 PREP) FOR 8th GRADE & UP

This program is designed for students who have completed  Pre-Algebra and need a review of the entire course concepts before starting an Algebra-1 course in the fall.

[2] HIGH SCHOOL GEOMETRY REVIEW: A POWER MATH REVIEW (ALGEBRA-2 PREP) 9th GRADE & UP

This program is designed for students who have taken High School Geometry and need a review of the critical concepts and skills of the course before starting an Algebra-2 course in the fall.

[3] ALGEBRA-1 REVIEW: A POWER MATH REVIEW (GEOMETRY PREP) 9th GRADE & UP

This program is designed for students who have completed first year Algebra-1 and need a review of the entire course. It is not a preview of GEOMETRY, but would serve as a good review for most students who are planning on taking GEOMETRY in the fall.

 

D- POWER REVIEW PROGRAM-II

Price*: $720

[1] ALGEBRA-2 REVIEW: A POWER MATH REVIEW (PRE-CALCULUS PREP) FOR 10th GRADE & UP

This program is designed for students who have completed Second year Algebra-2 and need a review of the entire course. It is not a preview of Pre-Calculus, but would serve as a good review for most students who are planning on taking Pre-Calculus in the fall.

[2] PRE-CALCULUS REVIEW: A POWER MATH REVIEW (CALCULUS PREP) FOR 10th GRADE & UP

This program is designed for students who have taken Pre-Calculus and need a review of the critical concepts and skills of the course. It is not a preview of Calculus, but would serve as a good review for most students who are planning on taking Calculus in the fall.
